Smooth Movers is a Los Angeles-based moving company, specializing in moving residential and commercial clientele. Staying true to our childhood roots, our offices are in Santa Monica and our core team consists of childhood friends who, after years of working professionally at other moving companies, decided to come together and do it a better way.
Not much has changed from those first few moves. Our skills and experience have improved and we've become fully established in the moving industry, but our core values are still there. (And our trucks are newer!)

We have the skills necessary to move just about anything safely - beyond that, we understand that moving can be stressful, so in addition to the actual moving of your things, we strive to make the process as seamless and positive as possible. With lower operating costs we are able to provide our customers with lower flat rates, better versatility and faster service than the larger moving companies. We can also provide large trucks for big or specialty moves. We assess each of our clients needs carefully to recommend the best moving option

We blanket and shrink wrap all items, use couch covers and mattress bags, keeping everything clean and protected. Our technique for fitting a large amount of items safely into our pickup trucks and vans has been perfected. With our trucks we can handle most combinations of furniture and boxes found in a one bedroom apartment. We take pride in our work, have fun while we are doing it and feel that we have found a better way to move
We understand how valuable your items are to you and how stressful moving can be, so we take great care in moving your belongings and provide a white glove service at a reasonable cost. In addition, we have more insurance than other moving companies, at no extra cost. Beyond our $2mil liability and workers comp, we have $10k cargo insurance which covers your belongings, at their full value, on every step of the move

The Psychotramps are a charity group in Vietnam, whose efforts are focused on providing shoes, jackets, umbrellas, new books and pencils, and repairing schools for disadvantaged children in the rural areas of their country. The whole effort is dedicated to helping the kids. I’ve seen this first hand and was blown away. The main source of funding for this charity is the Rock N’ Share events.
